            Have challenging fun while stretching your gray matter and improve your problem solving skills. It’s Brain Twister Day at the Logic Puzzle Museum for kids, teens, and grownup: ages 7 through adult; on Wednesday August 20 from 10 am to 4 pm.  The day includes more than 50 “figure them out” mechanical and logic puzzles to try, play challenging strategy games, modern puzzles and classic parlor puzzles. Everyone will also make three different logic puzzles and a strategy game to take home. 

           The logic puzzles to try range from the 2-piece pyramid and the giant rush hour sliding block challenge to packing puzzles and take-aparts.  Participants learn to play Mastermind, the fast 2-person Sliding block race game,  and the game of intersections called Black Box.

           Brain Twister Day includes looking at and trying out a number of collectible puzzles usually just in the exhibit, too. Whether one want to come for the challenge or uses the day for brain exercise just before school starts, the variety of activities cause fun, achievement, and “aha’s’ 

           The Logic Puzzle Museum has been written up in Scientific American Mind magazine as a recommended outing.

            The day’s fee of $48 per person includes then entire day’s activities and all materials needed to make the 3 take home puzzles and games, as well as professional instruction by the museum curator. Each person should bring a bag lunch. Parking is free.
